Cousins!

We had a great two week stay at our family cabin in Nebraska. We were able to see a lot of our family, spend some quality time in the water and relax. Although hectic, we are so grateful that we have such a special place to vacation!

Washington

I'm way behind on blog posts...hence just getting around to posting pictures from our trip to Washington to visit Lulu and Papa John in early June :) We had an awesome time although we missed many of the beautiful sunsets because they just happen too late and we couldn't stay awake til after 10 most nights :)

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo!

During Grandma Sheila's visit we loaded up the car with part of the Smith/Krause crew and headed to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Adam had never been to the zoo and we had heard amazing things about this zoo set into the side of the foothills :) Here are a few of the highlights...

Grandma Time

My mom was visiting for the past week so once again Adam was spoiled rotten and so were we :) Adam got to stay home with Grandma while Jon and I and our friends Anne and Jeff took a weekend trip to Steamboat. It was so great to get away for a weekend and know that Adam was in good hands.

And here we are post half marathon (our actual reason for going to Steamboat). I finished in 1:50 which is my PR by about 3 minutes!
