Dads

I am very lucky to have the best dad. He was never afraid to give me a big hug and tell me that he loved me. He loved me unconditionally, attended all my sporting events, and was a great role model in what kind of man I deserve. Recently we made a memory book for my parents and here are a few of the memories I have of my dad growing up...
riding on the tandem with my feet up while you peddle
dancing with you at my wedding
playing basketball in the driveway
going for 5:30am runs at the Y
shopping for jewelry for mom right before Christmas
our Father's day breakfasts in Madison on your way to Klobie
our Boundary Waters trip
your stir fry
meeting you at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C.
eating at P.F. Chang's
coaching my CBA team
camping at Lake Le-Aqua-Na
going to your softball games
walking down the aisle with you at my wedding
watching you shave in the morning while you sang
I am happy to say that I now have the best dad for my kids. Adam is a lucky little boy to have a dad that loves him unconditionally. (His shirt says 'My Dad is Awesome')

Camping

This weekend we went on our first camping trip con bebe. It turned out to be an awesome time with great friends. Adam was a little trooper like always :)

Best Friends

Here are a few of the photos from Adam's first photo shoot with Danielle. Dani is just 2 months younger than Adam and already they are great friends :)
Adam tries to kiss/eat her hand
Danielle punches him
Friends again :)

Moab

A few weeks ago we took our first overnight trip with Adam. We went to Moab to celebrate the end of the school year with some Powell friends. Here are a few pics of Adam's first 'hike'...however, as you can see he didn't do a lot :) He did love the extra attention though!

No swaddle!

I'm not sure if we are going to go cold turkey on this, but right now Adam is taking a nap with no swaddle :) He has just been fighting the swaddle so much and he loves to have his hands up near his mouth with a blanket in his hands so we thought we would give it a try. I don't think I'm ready for no swaddle at night...I don't want to ruin his sleeping through the night pattern.
