Half Way There!

Here I am at 20 weeks with baby #2. I was looking back at some old pictures today, from when I was pregnant with Adam and this time around my belly looks a lot bigger already, but I generally look smaller. I definitely gained a lot of extra weight everywhere else (especially in my face) the first time around. I think I acted too generously on the 'eating for two' recommendation and didn't really maintain any sort of exercise regiment. This time around I'm eating a little more carefully (however, this week I did have 2 or 3 shakes :) and I am exercising a lot more. I have continued to run and have even competed in a few races. My next challenge is a 10K benefitting Littleton Public Schools! It has been a huge help having friends (Anne and Kristin) to help motivate me and of course Jon to watch Adam so I can run each weekend.
I love this running tank top!

Conductor

Adam has become obsessed with all things trains these days.
Doesn't he look so old!! Riding the train at the Belleview Train Park.
Helping a train through the bridge of his new train set! Thank you Lulu!
Ensuring Thomas makes it under the bridge safely.
He even has a conductor outfit!

Way Behind-Part II

Here is Part II of my attempt to get caught up on our summer happenings...
Adam loves the 4th of July!
Reading with Emory on their brief stay at our house on their way to Estes Park.
We went on a lot of trips this summer, but thankfully we had a few weeks home to explore some things in Denver that we wanted to try out with Adam, including the Children's Museum! Here he is playing with the trains...he was in heaven!
 Intrigued by the bubbles.
We made our new car trek to the top of Pikes Peak. Very beautiful and a little chilly!
Clif, Angie, Emory and Miles were our motivation to make the drive.
BFF's reunited...we got to visit the Holman's (our friends who moved to Texas) when we were in Dallas. Adam and Danielle had a great time 'playing' together :) It was definitely bittersweet to see them, however, so much fun to see the kids play, have our Euchre teams back, but sad to leave knowing we won't see them again til March :(
 Dani at the splash park.
 Adam all scraped up :)
 Dani...freaking adorable...
 Seriously!!
And all the cousins in one picture :)

Way Behind-Part I

I realize I'm way behind on posting and since school started this week...there is no chance of getting caught up. So instead of doing individual posts of all of our fun summer events I will just do a little photo dump :)
Our friends the Smith-Krause clan came with us to the cabin for the first part of our trip...however, this is the only evidence that shows they were at the lake...seriously where was the camera?? Also notice the gigantic tree uprooted in the background, there was a huge storm within hours of arriving at the cabin. So we had to rough it the first night/day with no power...and then the weather continued to be somewhat miserable while they were there :(
My high school friend Jenny was able to stop out for the morning so our boys could play together. Conner and Adam were both born in March, so it was fun to see them play together :)
Adam and Uncle Barry seem quite exacerbated by each other.
A similar picture can be found here from last summer. Obviously Adam still loves the water and his floaties :)
A rare smile from Charlie (hence why it's slightly blurry)
Will and Uncle Matt on the jet ski!
Smallest pool ever!
Emma enjoying a ho-ho!
