Way Behind-Part II

Here is Part II of my attempt to get caught up on our summer happenings...

We went on a lot of trips this summer, but thankfully we had a few weeks home to explore some things in Denver that we wanted to try out with Adam, including the Children's Museum! Here he is playing with the trains...he was in heaven!

 We made our new car trek to the top of Pikes Peak. Very beautiful and a little chilly!

 Clif, Angie, Emory and Miles were our motivation to make the drive.

 BFF's reunited...we got to visit the Holman's (our friends who moved to Texas) when we were in Dallas. Adam and Danielle had a great time 'playing' together :) It was definitely bittersweet to see them, however, so much fun to see the kids play, have our Euchre teams back, but sad to leave knowing we won't see them again til March :(

Way Behind-Part I

I realize I'm way behind on posting and since school started this week...there is no chance of getting caught up. So instead of doing individual posts of all of our fun summer events I will just do a little photo dump :)

Our friends the Smith-Krause clan came with us to the cabin for the first part of our trip...however, this is the only evidence that shows they were at the lake...seriously where was the camera?? Also notice the gigantic tree uprooted in the background, there was a huge storm within hours of arriving at the cabin. So we had to rough it the first night/day with no power...and then the weather continued to be somewhat miserable while they were there :(

 My high school friend Jenny was able to stop out for the morning so our boys could play together. Conner and Adam were both born in March, so it was fun to see them play together :)

Adam and Uncle Barry seem quite exacerbated by each other.

Cousins!

We had a great two week stay at our family cabin in Nebraska. We were able to see a lot of our family, spend some quality time in the water and relax. Although hectic, we are so grateful that we have such a special place to vacation!

Washington

I'm way behind on blog posts...hence just getting around to posting pictures from our trip to Washington to visit Lulu and Papa John in early June :) We had an awesome time although we missed many of the beautiful sunsets because they just happen too late and we couldn't stay awake til after 10 most nights :)
